Beautiful park, and restroom was actually clean and well-stocked: would use again! Never thought I’d say that about a park public restroom.
My favorite place was Stevenot, up front on the right: got a cheese soufflé and they heated it up, so I took it with me to one of the wine counters and had a rosé with it!
Great beers, I love that you can get a zurito (small) size to try the different ones! My favorite was the Apatxe APA. Fries come with a tasty curry sauce and mayo, but I think they have ketchup, too.
Get there early (7ish) for a good table out front. Expect time between dishes; bread charge is worth it for the tuna and feta; don’t get the cod cakes but the sea bass was great. View is unbeatable.
Egg Mendaur was my favorite thing that I ate in San Sebastián: get it. Friendly service, great atmosphere, I can’t recommend this place enough.
