Excellent espresso served by people who really care about coffee. Accompanied by a good food selection like salt beefbagels. Cool location too in one of the small alleyways of the City.
Definetly among the top 3 espressos that I ever had. Wonderful flavour and body balance from their own roasting. The minimalist design and the quite atmosphere are also spot on. Must try. 9.5/10
The best espresso in London? Quite possibly. Very friendly staff, keen to share their passion for great coffee. Lots of different brew options, and choice of beans. Superb.
Stellar single origin coffee (V60) and espresso. Had a fantastic cup from Ethiopia. Piles of sweet and savory bites, as well. Best espresso in this part of London.
It is very cosy small coffe shop with delicious single maltcoffee and polite staff. We've been there for quick coffee half an hour before they close and we get 2for1 cake price.
Not far off from St Paul's, Alchemy features knowledgeable staffs who takes their time to explain the rotating beans on offer. The ordering system is odd, and is based on size rather than type.
Friendly people who are ready to talk about the variety of coffee making techniques on offer (aeropress, v60, etc). A good selection of filter coffee on offer along with beans + grinding.
Unusual concept. You can't get your regular lattes/flat whites etc here - you choose your coffee blend, size, and whether you want milk or not, and they serve it at the 'optimal' temperature
The best espresso I have ever tasted, what a well-balanced flavour! Also one of the best latte arts I have ever seen on my cappuccino. Highly recommended!
Avocado toast was great - they got my order wrong (which is surprising given there are only a choice of 3 sizes), but really, who cares when the coffee is good and the milkwell stretched!
Carter Lane now has another new coffee shop. Well worth checking out. Good coffee, friendly staff and a selection of gadgets and coffee making methods for geeks like me.
