Buenos Aires Recommendations

Amber: One of my favorite coffee shops in the world. Great coffee, solid food options, easy vibe, friendly and accommodating service. Highly recommend the cold brew and a turkey sando if you want a snack.

Amber: My favorite bar in BA. Casual friendly neighborhood bar vibes, but with an awesome cocktail menu and excellent execution. Sit outside and enjoy the weather or snag a seat at the bar to watch the magic

Amber: Crave worthy sandwiches - fast and cheap. Everything I've had here has been great, but the cerdo ahumado is what I keep going back for.

Amber: Sister restaurant to Don Julio, but with a very different vibe and menu. More small plates and fun local dishes. Sit at the counter to watch the kitchen. The poached pear for dessert was a highlight.

Amber: A celebrated Argentinian steak establishment with a warm interior and an open kitchen so you can watch all the different cuts getting grilled to perfection. Don't skip the grilled provolone w peppers.

Amber: Very casual but excellent - steaks are cooked perfectly to order, respectable wine options and the sides are all solid. 10/10

Amber: Absurdly good ice cream. Pay first in the front shop, then go to the ice cream counter in the back to order.

Huanita Guadalupe: The only place in S. America that appears on the Top 50 cocktail bars of the world. By far one of the coolest place to arrive to. Arrive early cuz it's very small and people tend to stay all night.

Amber: Excellent selection of wine and incredibly knowledgable and friendly owner. If you want to learn more about Argentinian wine, they offer tastings and classes but you have to book ahead.

Travel + Leisure: A covered, 19th-century market–one of the city’s biggest landmarks.

Amber: If you're in the San Telmo area, great place to stop and get a platter of snacks and charcuterie and a cynar+soda or glass of wine. Warm and cozy interior, or bask in the afternoon sun on the sidewalk

Amber: If you enjoy perusing a well curated mish mosh of home decor, art, local artisan products and ~stuff~ stop by this gallery. Located at the end of a plant filled alley, with a cafe and tea house too.
