Eine Hamburger Bar-Institution, die man, einmal betreten, am liebsten gar nicht mehr verlassen mag. Fantastische Cocktails, großartige Barkeeper, ... hier stimmt einfach alles!

Come to this fancy bar to enjoy some of the most exquisite cocktails in the whole city. Order a Gin Basil Smash (owner Jörg Meyer created it) or any other drink which is not on the menue.

Top-class drinks. Service at the tables can take a while when it gets busy. If you manage to get a seat at the bar you’re sorted. (Top tip: far right hand seat is the best seat in the house.)

Nettes Flair und großartige Cocktails. Unbedingt an der Bar betraten lassen, wenn man mal einen neuen Drink kennenlernen möchte. Ohne Reservierung kann es schwierig werden einen Platz zu bekommen.

Geburtsort des Gin Basil Smash - Dementsprechend auch eine Pflichtbestellung hier. Reservierung empfiehlt sich, wenn man Abends einen Sitzplatz haben will.

A great lounge atmosphere and fantastic bar keepers! Just go in there and tell them you want a cocktail with X (e.g. Gin). Be sure to be surprised by their creativity and be sure to enjoy the drink!

Daha çok bir klüp gibi, turistlere tabsiye edemiyeceğim, lokallere uygun bir yer veya bir yakını lokal olanlara.. sadece güzel içkiler ve hoş sohbet edilebilecek bir yer.. ama ben yinede bayıldım :)

They are famous for their Basil smash! It is definitely a must. The doorman might give you a hard time. Just say that you have been there before and ask for a seat upstairs. ;)

One of the best bars in Germany. Friendly personnel, incredibly good drinks. Nice and familiar atmosphere. Try also the tasty cannapées!

Drinks sind sehr gut, aber viel besser ist der sehr freundliche Umgang von Mrs Kupsa und Karkosz, besser geht es nicht :-) Barkarte ist überflüssig bei dem Fachwissen der Bartender

Had something expensive, red and fluffy then took a hazardous trip to the toilets; steep stairs + low light + very drunk patrons = bad mix, service good in comparison to normal Hamburg service.
