The first sit-down restaurant from the folks behind Xi'an Famous Foods offers all their classics (lamb burgers, hand-pulled noodles, and more) with table service, still on the cheap.
Trust us... you'll be able to stomach the boiled beed stomach skewers just fine. In fact, they might end up being your favorite dish in town. Drowned in spicy fermented tofu sauce for your delight. \nПодробнее
If you love lamb and lots of spice along with spiciness, order the spicy cumin lamb noodles! First time trying this restaurant and the noodle did not disappoint! Small downside: extra $1.25 for soup
Fave place in Flushing. If you like spicy food and hand pulled noodles this is your place. Lambnoodles, cold skin noodles, vegetableskewers, and lamb pao mo are worth traveling for.
I take people here before or after a mets game just to watch their minds explode. Enter a different world, sweat from the spiciness, and try something u never had before. Its all awesome here.
Biang! extends the Xi'an Famous Foods menu in a classier and more comfortable environment. There is nothing better than a bowl of spicycumin lamb soup noodles on a cold and rainy day.
Lots of food I would have never thought to try, but it's all quite good. Lamb face salad and chicken hearts are probably the best things I've had there. I would stay away from the beeftendons though.
A hidden gem on Main St; modernized interior design combined with out of the world spices in every dish. Lamb skewers are a must! The oxtailhand cutnoodles were fab too. Affordable and fast!
Delicious hand pulled noodles. Got the Spicy Cumin Lamb Noodles "medium" spicy, which was seriously spicy ("hot" might have killed me) and delicious. Try the quail eggappetizer!
Very authentic Xi'an food. Try the grilled chicken heart, very special and yummy.. Soft spicy tofu was ok, the tofu could be softer. Overall dining experience was awesome!
retartedly good Xian style noodles that will leave your mouth tingling. Get the lambcuminskewer, spicysoft tofu, spicycucumber salad, and soup dumplings to get the party started.
If you're into noodles with a kick, then this is the place to try. I ordered mine non-spicy, but it still came spicy. I was able to handle it, but my sinuses were triggered.
Authentic, delicate ( may only be seated and braised rather than baked and stewed), modest, spicy, interesting, no waiters (counter service only). On the site of the old Biang.
This downtown-meets-Chinatown den pleases both Instagram-happy young’uns and Mandarin-fluent grannies. Winner of the 2013 Best Second Act award, as the sophomore effort from Xi’an Famous Foods. \nПодробнее
Highly recommend the beeftendonskewers, the spicy cumin lamb noodles, liang pi and the spicycumin lamb burger as well. Great prices and awesome food. Love it here!
If you love offals, try the pork intestine and chicken heartskewerssprinkled with cumin and chili powder. Also get a yogurt sochu cocktail to take off some of the heat.
early lunchtime during the week, before 1 pm, seemed like a good time to go. i was dining solo so less time waiting & eating. i <3 noodles and theirs are good, or in korean, 짱!
The noodles with oxtails = love at first bite...😍😍 and don't forget the pork buns #myanacondadontwantnoneunlessugotbunshun (Fyi-I normally order it without the broth)
New. Biang! is a well-known Xi'an Famous Foods brand, which is a small chain of specialty Chinese restaurants that specialize in authentic Chinese cuisine from the western Chinese city of Xi'an. \nПодробнее
StewedPork Biang-Biang Noodles were delish, but be aware things run on the spicier side - I was going through water pretty quickly with my "mild" noodles.
Bring insect repellant. Lots of mosquitos in the backyard seating area. The citronella candles are semi-effective. Duane Reade is 3 blocks away if you forget the DEET.
