One of my favorite terminals in the world. It is just so open and airy it never feels cramped. Be sure to check out the food options before heading through security (SushiSushi and The Botanist).
Spoon is now open at the International Terminal! Located on Level 2 Arrivals Hall, you can grab a great coffee while you wait for your loved one to arrive, or celebrate their arrival over breakfast!
Showers at the airport - brilliant! On 2nd floor, next to car rental counters. Free, hot water, paper towels, so you don't even need to use yours ;) and hair dryer for ladies! :))
For anyone transferring to the Domestic Terminal - check out the brand new TYPO store which has opened on Level 2 of the Common User Terminal next to Gate 25. Give yourself plenty of time to browse!
Flying Qantas? Use the premium lane past security if you're a gold or platinum frequent flyer. Walk past security screening to enter. You will go straight through to the lounge.
Nice design - as long as your flight is not the Emirates night flight this airport is quite busy so relax and enjoy the atmosphere while having some food or drinks
Make sure you visit F1RST Tax & Duty Free on Level 3 or 4 for some fantastic tax and duty free savings! Ask the staff about the ready for collection service - very convenient!
If you're not travelling but want free wifi, sit closest to the Qantas Club, at the far end of Aromas. If gate 80 is in front of you you've found the right spot.
be aware of the quarantine rules: every food should be declared, duty feee applies only up to 900 AUD per person. there is a 10% duty for the whole amount when you exceed the duty free threshold.
If you come for pickup in the middle of the night, you can wait for free of charge & peace of mind at Shell service station very near to the arrival hall.
To those Qantas passengers transiting here to Sydney, remember that they still enforce the 100mL rule, so don't buy any In-Sky Shopping alcohol, despite FAs telling you otherwise!
Make sure you upgrade your passport to the new one with the microchip in it. Hundreds in the queue and took me about 1 min thru the self service kiosk. Awesome.
