Staff is really nice. Breakfast is what you expect from a southern European hotel. Beds are lumpy but comfy. Walls are pretty thin. Can hear everything in the hallway

Good pit stop on the way to the square. Views can be nice at sunset. The traffic walking signals are fast so don't tarry crossing the road

The view was good. The staff was attentive. Setting was classy. My food was average but I'm guessing that's not usual based on the others. Fish had a bone in it and the peppers were super acidic
The skin on the pork and the sauce that goes with it are great. The spinach crepes were on point, too. Staff is super friendly and has workable English.
Sunday roast is where it's at. Just do it if you like prime rib at all. The goose appetizer was a pass. 1788 bitter was also quality.

Cask ales were on point. It was so crowded I had to sit outside in the middle of winter but didn't care. Definitely a lot of locals here too
Yeoman warder tours are free and funny. Go into the wall towers if possible and see the human side of being locked up here
Much better than it used to be. Take your iPads out of your carry on for inspection. New law in UK that I've never run into anywhere else in the world
