CollegeFashionista: Barbarella is a great bar in the heart of downtown Austin. On weekends they usually have a DJ and a theme for each day of the week (i.e. Footloose Fridays '80s music).

CollegeFashionista: Mozart's, a coffee shop on Lake Austin, is the perfect place to go to study and get some great coffee. They are also very well known for their sweet desserts, too!

CollegeFashionista: Gourdoughs is famous for the most delicious donuts in Austin. The toppings and fillings are pretty heavy, so I would recommend splitting a donut if you don't want a stomach ache!

CollegeFashionista: Home Slice, a restaurant located on South Congress, is known for the best NY style pizza in Austin. I would highly recommend it to any pizza lover. You won't be disappointed!

CollegeFashionista: The Trophy Club is a fun place to go with a group of friends on a Thursday night downtown. It has a great atmosphere and offers mechanical bull riding (perfect for all the party animals).

CollegeFashionista: Moonshine is a popular upscale southern style cooking restaurant that offers a great ambiance and gourmet comfort food.

CollegeFashionista: Bess Bistro, Sandra Bullock's restaurant in Austin, is a quaint and affordable brunch location perfect for all occasions!

CollegeFashionista: If you’re looking for a menswear boutique, I would suggest STAG on South Congress. They have the best selection of urban menswear clothing and accessories.

CollegeFashionista: South Congress is the most trendy and quintessential Austin hot spot. It’s a very young and vibrant area of Austin where many Fashionistos/as are spotted.

CollegeFashionista: If it’s warm outside (especially in the summertime), Barton Springs is a great getaway from city life and fun outdoors location for relaxing, tanning or swimming in the spring water pool.

CollegeFashionista: Running or biking along Lady Bird Lake is a great place to workout. During the warmer months, they offer kayaking and water biking on the lake, too!

CollegeFashionista: ThunderCloud Subs, aka the Austin Subway, is the perfect place to go for a light sandwich and good energy boost before your next class!

CollegeFashionista: Jo's Coffee on South Congress (there is another location downtown), is a quaint coffee shop with cool graffiti on the side of the restaurant and has a refreshing outdoor patio area.

CollegeFashionista: Hopdoddy, the best burger joint in Austin, is where I would take parents for a good, high quality meal.
