I worked here for a couple of years and there is pretty much nothing in LA like it. Either be ready to spend at least $1K or you can pick up some gifts like art books, candles or a cashmere beanie.
I pretty much love everything. Try the ckn bisque or miso beef on a chilly day. They make this ckn/grape/ almond/squash salad that's awesome. The mini cupcakes are perfect. The watermelon lemonade +++
The most fun gift store in LA. From a range of books to a whole variety of bobbleheads, latex figures and even an art gallery in the back this place embodies kitch at its finest.
I've been going here since I've lived in LA; and they never fail to deliver. Clean, great food quality and amazing prices. I always get the "half chicken", ckn curry or saag.
If you haven't been. U need to go. Pretty much all of LA is there. I love the food truck plaza, the musicians, the vendors and all the artwork.
