Do yourself a favour and get a pour-over. This is, by far, the best coffee in the area. Anything espresso-based here is also top notch. Plus, single-malt whiskies from around the globe. Done and done.
They make the best espressos in Waterloo/Kitchener , and not to forget that they play the best records here .. from Pink Floyd to Radiohead.
My top choice for coffee in town! Definitely recommend their Americano and their pour-over. Their loose leaf teas and desserts are both great too. Great atmosphere. Warm and welcoming staff. A+

Best latte in the city, hands down! If you're on your way to Starbucks, forget it - head to DVLB! Great atmosphere, great people. Unfortunately they made a decision recently to cover up all the power outlets, which makes it impractical to get much work done there.

Best americanos ever + great atmosphere = you must visit
LOVE DVLB. Great lattes made with great care and just how I like it. Muffins are well sized and tasty.
Though it takes a while to prepare, as a mid day snack, a scottish pastie is tastey ( doesn't actually rhyme)
Great americanos and pour over. Try their beans too. Fantastic.
They play excellent music. And...they have a good old record player. (the coffee is great too)
They take reservations for the big table at the back! They say a day's notice is ideal.

Best Christmas Blend coffee I've ever had. Pour over makes all the difference!
Ask Joel to make you a "pour-over" coffee if you're used to regular drip coffee.
get a cortado – they'll like you for knowing what it is
Try the Japanese whiskey Nikka. It's delicious.
Try an Iced pour over when the warm weather hits!- Ask for the hibiscus ice tea. Lovely.
