Excellent pizza, probably one of the best in Zurich. Come early or get a reservation. Space is pretty cramped, too many tables though.
Pretty good burgers for the price. Get Heidi burger, fries and the hot sauce. Gets pretty crowded around lunchtime, better in summer for additional seats outside.

Great Thai food in a city where anything spicy is almost a rarity. Tends to be full on evenings, so booking in advance is a good idea.

One of the few places in Zurich where you can get really good Chinese dumplings. The place is kind of tiny and feels cramped, though. Reservation is highly recommended.
Excellent selection of bottled microbrews from across the world. Some good american food, really nice service. Enjoyable especially in the summer when sitting outside. Get the pulled pork nachos.
Burgers. Lovely burgers. Get the set of three sliders (if your party is small enough) and animal fries.
