This is where it all begins. Or ends. Where S returned from boarding school, where B headed to Yale, and where D and S struck up an unlikely romance. (I Will Always Love You) \n
Commuters at rush hour, tourists all day long. A wonderful piece of NYC history. Great assortment of stores if shopping is your thing as well as good restaurant & bar scene...
A free (and excellent) walking tour leaves every Friday at 12:30pm across the street in the atrium of 120 Park. Goes over the history and architecture of the Grand Central area.
The 67 tracks are numbered according to their geographic location in the terminal building rather than the trains' destinations, because all of the trains terminate at Grand Central.
Stand in the middle of the main hall, pull up the YouTube app on your phone, and watch the amazing Grand Central dance scene from The Fisher King. https://youtu.be/lASPrnWf6cA
Pause to view Grand Central's glittering ceiling painted with a map of the constellations from the night sky. Shops, an annual holiday market, special events, and restaurants also attract attention. \nПодробнее
There is a very cool whispering hall just south of the famous main room with the ceiling mural. If you exit that main area on the southeast side and make a right, a right, go down a hall, it's there

Aqui é lindo demais, coisa de filme. Dá pra ficar horas admirando a beleza desse lugar.
Look up. If you're in the main concourse, look for the constellation of Cancer the crab; they left a brick of what it looked like before renovation (it's the really dark square in the corner).
If your traintrack has 2 digits its on the upper level. If it has triple digits train is on the lower level. Higher track #s on the West Side of the Terminal...(Rite Aid TrainMuseum Side)
What a station!!!! A must visited place, but you should do it late at night, because at morning hours it is so much crowded and you will miss all that beauty.....
Great!
