Babette CantonИюнь 8, 2013Peach custard tarts are amazing. Made with a real, not canned peach half. The pastry is croissant dough that is crispy and the bottom layer breaks off leaving you a butter saturated sheet. So good
you'll think you want the fried egg sandwich. don't do it. you'll only wish you'd gotten the green eggs and ham. also, maple bacon biscuit, prosciutto gruyere croissant, and whole wheat scone.
The line for their pastries & brunch is often out the door. I would wait in a line twice as long. Favorite bakery in all of LA.

Came back and had some awesome poached eggs over grilled veggies.

Everything is fabulous. Order as much food as you think you could possibly eat, and then pastries for breakfast the next day. Zoe Nathan, I love you!

Go early to get the best selection of bread. It sells out quickly.
