Watch out for Central Terminal, concourse B (airtran). It is the shittiest concourse I have seen in my life. Don't miss the wall of rust in the mens room.
There are water refilling stations at LGA! Don't spend $8 on a bottle of water. Bring an empty water bottle and fill it up.

Looking for somewhere to sit in the B Gates? Try the seats next to B1 behind the glass across from the panini shop. Nice seats and very quiet.
If your plane leaves from Terminal C, there's a shuttle bus necessary to get to your gate. Add an additional 5-7 min.
Terminal B has no real food options beyond security. So eat before coming through.
Crust in. Terminal D is great for pizza and wine. Plus charging ports every where!
Unclaimed baggage is melted down and formed into food court sporks
If you need a car service, www.cabofthefuture.com is great... I always use a yellow cab to go home from the airport, but on the way there I sometimes use a car and Tom Brennan rocks!
If you ate flying delta - make sure to pick the security line on the left. The one in the right shares a guard with the sky priority line which means it moves twice as slow

There's a special place in hell for airports who don't provide free Wi-fi.

The Centurion Lounge wins the pre-security lounge wars at LGA. Use your Amex Platinum Card or $50 to get in.- If someone outside the airport offers to drive you into the city in his windowless white van...decline.
- Need the washroom after landing? Wait til you get to baggage. Equally gross bit often less crowded.
Food options are very limited after security so make sure to get some food from food court a level below. Security usually takes 5 to 10 minutes

The shuttle bus from the subway has actually gotten a lot smoother.
Sell the house. Close the shop. Buy a ticket to the west coast.
LGA is a challenge to get to by both land and air. Consider this when making travel plans.
Why can't these idiots form a cab line going the right direction when there's clearly gates for you to line up in? 150 people blocking the sidewalk...

Once your flight starts getting delayed - forget about it & get a rental car if less than 8 hour drive ... The queue system is rough & weather (even minor) just crushes LGA
The women's bathroom at the far end of baggage claim is hardly ever crowded, as opposed to the ones throughout the terminals.

One of the easier choices for that NYC wannabe world traveler feel. Eat at "Mex and the city"
Check out the new Biergarten in Term C
Skip the taxi line and take an Uber home. The cost is roughly equal to a cab and way less stressful.
Hit up the bar in the southwest terminal if you're hungover, it's the only possible way to deal with LGA
Always check with your airline the status of your flight!
