RonniНоябрь 17, 2015The admission ticket booth is behind the skate rental place, don't accidentally stand on line for skates before getting tickets. You'll need to get a locker for your shoes. Lovely rink though :)

Tracy BalzanoЯнварь 13, 2014Bring your own hot chocolate. The cafe was making them one at a time. We waited 45 minutes. The other snack counter RAN OUT, yes, of hot chocolate. We got there at 10:30 though so no wait for the ice.

Look for stick and puck sessions. Best place to get some hockey time in throughout NYC, and it's outdoors.
FYI: The largest skate size they have for men is size 13! I'm a 14 sneaker and was able to cram my foot into the 13 rental but it was pretty tight.
Splash Pad (what the ice skating is in the summer months) is a great spot for little kids to cool off.

I'm so happy this opened. Another great section of Prospect Park. The restaurants not bad, either.
