If you like your gelato on the rich side, look no further than L'Arte del Gelato, one of our favorite spots at Chelsea Market. Pistachio is a must-order, as is the panna cotta.
Our Torta di Natale gelato is made with eggnog, milk cream, chocolate, panettone and rum and it’s perfect tasted alone or together with other Christmas treats.
Definitely go for fruit flavors - strawberry was so good I started stealing licks from my bf's cone. But the mint chocolate was delicious too! A small gelato ($4.50) comes with up to two flavors :)
Typically faint ice cream flavors like pear or green apple have a satisfying bite, and every once in a while an unorthodox flavor such as olive oil pops up, so its worth making the trip. \nПодробнее
Chocolate top, vanilla rather flop (as in boring). Portions are a lot smaller compared to other, better gelaterias (e.g. Cones, Brooklyn Ice CreamFactory).
Freshly madegelati and sorbetti are invariably creamy and smooth, and their seasonal menu offers a wide variety of flavors. Don’t miss their intensely nutty pistachio gelato\nПодробнее
#Halloween's Here! Come to join #LArtedelGelato!! Enjoy together with our special guesses, coming from "Ancient Roman Empire" Friday, #October31st at 3pm to 6pm #ChelseaMarket
Pear & Grape taste just like you're eating the actual fruit. You can put two flavors in the little cup but whatever the first flavor you say you get the most of.
"Our favorite flavors? Pistachio, panna cotta, ginger, rice pudding, or olive oil; we could go on, but there's no need as it seems they can do no wrong."
The hazelnut gelato was very smooth and the taste was pretty good. The sugar cone was subpar, not ok for a place of this caliber. They don't accept Amex FYI
L'Arte del Gelato is an italian gelateria where you can taste the best gelato of New York.
Our most popular flavors:
Stracciatella, Pistacchio, Limone, Nocciola, Cioccolato, Frutti di bosco, Fragola, Menta cioccolato, Panna cotta, and other delicious flavors.
