Absolutely the best Mid-east food in the Portland area. Fabulous hummus, baba ganoush, pita, kabobs...and dishes I've never seen anywhere else. I also heartily recommend the veggie mezza.

A great view of Mount Hood for Photographers at the summit, it's a mild intensity hike with a nice combo of open fields and trees.
Best seats for symphony concerts are also the cheapest - top of upper balcony. Bring binoculars and you're golden!

Nice park with a lot of open sky. In summer there is a waterfall-type wading pool that the kids love, and we adult like the positive, happy kid energy.
I truly appreciate fine arts so i'm really happy i had the chance to visit this place. Wish i had more time though. Incredible and fascinating arts they have. My favorite is Vision of Fiammetta, 1878

Take Columbia Slough Trail from Interstate Avenue, go along the old Portland Highway, pass Smith and Bybee Lake and end up here at Kelley Point Park, which has a great beach. Great weekend bike ride!

Swim, picnic, or just hang out at this secluded park on the river. Lots of folks bring their dogs to play in the water.
Nice old fashioned skating place. My toddlers liked the skating time and the cookies and milk afterwards.
Great golf course, nice jogging trail that runs along the perimeter of the golf course, and they also have 4 indoor tennis courts!
