When I was coming to Madrid I had no clue there was such incredible piece of ancient history here! (so different from the other middle age monuments and castles). Do not miss it, specially on sunset!

Looks a lot smaller than it actually is! Wish I had come earlier and taken the audio tour. Wonderful ancient Roman site! Worth spendig more than a few hours if you are into history and architecture!
DO NOT come on a Monday... Castle was closed! 😢 So we walked the entire Chanal (seriously) and it was wonderful. Will be back someday to see the inside but certainly the outiside is worth your while!
Historical place: when you stand there contemplating its size and beauty, the water running through it from beneath your feet comes from ancient Rome's last functioning underground aqueduct. Superb!
Please educate yourself before entering! We did the whole walkthrough backwards...you should first see the Forum ruins, then the Palatine Hill. It seems to make more sense anyway. Enjoy!
Hermosa edificación. Lástima que no tiene plaza de comidas ni para visitantes ni empleados de las diferentes oficinas. Ojo a la seguridad por fuera de las intalaciones.
El antigüo Club Alemán. Bonitas y modernas instalaciones. Piscina semi-olímpica y canchas de tennis en el 2o piso.
