Nate F.: Get there early for a seat in the back with an umbrella. The Mexican truck is worth it!

Nate F.: Beautiful view of Manhattan skyline, especially at night.

Nate F.: Lesser-known rooftop bar, but such a great spot. The food at this restaurant is phenomenal as well. Really great cocktails on the roof!

Nate F.: Get margaritas from Turkey's Nest to bring here, bask in the sun with your pale friends.

Nate F.: Get their strong, cheap margaritas in styrofoam cups to bring across the street to McCarren Park.

Nate F.: Fun outdoor spot with excellent, inexpensive food, and really catchy DJs.

Nate F.: Come here for the darts in the backyard. Lots of concrete, but a chill spot.

Nate F.: Fantastic Italian food, with a great outdoor setting. Worth it!

Nate F.: The happy hour line starts at 3:30 (opens at 4) for $1 oysters. Try to get here as early as you can, especially for the much sought-after garden.

Nate F.: Scene-y by traditional Brooklyn standards, but a great place to turn up with a frattier crowd if that's your thing.

Nate F.: Indoor/outdoor seating and a HUGE projector screen for all sporting events.

Nate F.: Dogs are now, ever so sadly, banned - but still worth going to the garden for some cheap dive drinks.

Nate F.: Awesome jukebox with mainly 70s and 80s heavy metal. Taco truck in the back. Same owner as Lucky Dog and Skinny Dennis (and more).

Nate F.: The place to come for your rooftop clubbing, day-drinking needs. Don't come sober.

Nate F.: Very chill spot for surprisingly great pizza, rooftop view. Stop at Nitehawk next door for a movie before or after.

Nate F.: Everyone's favorite foodie overdose. Is it possible to name a favorite? Everything is fantastic.

Nate F.: Take a shopping break at this uber trendy (and pricey) store, even if you're just in there for inspiration.

Nate F.: Best men's store in Williamsburg, reasonable prices, for great quality attire.

Nate F.: Indoor/outdoor beer garden with everyone's favorite game, Jenga. Amazing beer list. Gets busy. Don't forget your ID.

Nate F.: Not exactly outdoors... but a truly excellent cocktail bar to visit on summer nights. Never too busy. Cocktails are my personal favorite in NYC. Black pepper Moscow mule is to die for.

Nate F.: NYC's best pizza. If you need some fuel to keep you going all night long, come here. Don't leave without trying the Cherry Jones and Hellboy - the perfect order.
