It is a nice smallish aquarium with some great displays. The sea otters are fun to watch and the variety of displays can entertain kids for a couple hours and likewise for adults interested in the sea
Exhibits show NC aquatic life from mountains to sea. Don’t miss the eagles just outside and the salt marsh trail. Wonderful recreation of the U352 wreck complete with sand tiger sharks.
Wonderful way to spend a day. Well worth the admission price. Wonderful small group tours, but reserve early on website they fill up fast! We did the ottertour last summer!
Amazing and beautiful aquarium! Love visiting everything and just about an hour's worth of looking! You can petstingrays and there is even a Dairy Queen stand outside!
The otters enjoy putting on a playful show to delight visitors of all ages. Be sure to also stop and see the sea turtles, including Nimbus, a unique little loggerhead named for his golden coloring.
Great aquarium, the shipwreck tank was nice. The otters (when not sleeping) and loggerheadturtles were the highlights. $8 for an adult is not expensive and a good deal compare to others. \nПодробнее
Look into the membership - its good not only for the aquarium, but for lots of zoos around the country. If you visit more than one zoo/aquarium a year, it might be worth it.
$8/adults. $6/kids 3-12. Kids < 3 free. The otters are a blast for kids and the live dive at 2:30p followed by daily 3p feedings are great for everyone. Make sure to stop by before u leave the island
Otters, sea turtles, sharks, and aquarium life abound at this expensive, but well done, aquarium. (Dieting? Beware the siren call of the Dairy Queen/Orange Julius at the exit door.)
Recently renovated with fun interactive tanks, huge shipwreck exhibit with 10-foot sharks. Awesome kids' activities. Great thing to do on a rainy beach day. \nПодробнее
