Definitely a must for the OBX! Beer is delicious and the food is absolutely incredible! Sit at the bar if you want to skip the wait and try the crab dip.
Try the Tuna Stack - tuna stack ~ roasted garlic pepperseared tuna served rare over cucumber salad with wasabi and misogingeraioli, topped with pickledginger and fried wontons (via @Foodspotting)
AMAZING. I go to OBX frequently and always end up here. The food is outstanding!!! Beer is fantastic. They have their own pastry chef on site. NOT TO BE MISSED!!!
Service can be very slow, but the wait is generally worth the wait. I do wish they would be a little more bold with hops and deliver an IPA or APA, but the beers are generally solid.
came here once & enjoyed cool local brewery atmosphere. came here second time & experienced trying too hard, wannabe club scene. a bit schizophrenic. cutebartenders though. .
Great service! The lemongrasswheat beer and the Flounder Platter are amazing. What makes it even better is the fact that this brewery is 100% wind powered!
Great outdoor area ....but we were here after dark in November to sit outside with our dog. Nobody but us out there. We were told by the bartender “no dogs out back”. On vaca with dog. Bummer.
Pale Ale is solid, but no IPA? Also, open kitchen seems like a lot of hands touching the food. Doesn't exude confidence in the chow (I've only had fried apps in earlier visits)
Halfway through dinner we spotted a mouse hanging out on a frame on the wall, then when they tried to capture it the little thing leaped and ran across the ground towards the bar. Very exciting dinner
Food and beer are very good. Service on The other hand, eh. Ordered a beer 10 mins later asked about it she said she hadn't put it in but she had drank a red bull to wake up a bit...wow
Great beers with a menu that is pretty reliable. During the summer, bring the kids, awesome playground out back with picnic tables, service, and music.
Beer is watered down. Did the sampler. 4 diff beers, all disappointments. Wings are super hot. Fried flounder platter is amazing. Potato wedges are great!
