Pull up a stool at the candle strewn piano hidden in the back. The pianist/singer on Friday was extraordinary, making the typical Elton John, Billy Joel, John Lennon setlist seem special, romantic.
Perfectly located. French Quarter is easily walkable. A streetcar stop right outside the hotel. Our city view room facing the west had beautiful sunsets.
People say this is this place to get your beignets - not Cafe Du Monde. These were the best I've ever had for sure. Live jazz here too - even on a Thursday morning.
Loved the Muffalata sandwich here. The courtyard has some serious heaters in the winter.
Loved this place. Split the seafood platter - but get it blackened instead of fried. Flavors are awesome - especially the blackened oysters.
Take the historic tour company's Garden District tour, and this will be your first stop. Several family graves are stunning reminders of how yellow fever decimated NOLO in the 1700's.
The roast beef po'boy was awesome. Ask for extra gravy & consider splitting it with someone because it's huge.
