Diocletian's Palace is a must see in Split. There are a lot of shops and cool cafes. People live within the palace grounds so be careful when your roam around not to end up in someone's backyard ;)

Here you can find some fantastic waterfalls near Split. I recommend you go on a day not too hot, even if the weather is not bad and reach them by bike .. fun!fun!fun!
