Rachel K: Ask for a local ingredient inspired drink! Mine had Japanese rum, plum liqueur and herb liqueur and was very spirit forward. Trust that the bartenders know their craft well.
Rachel K: Perfect vegetarian experience in Tokyo! Have your hotel call and day what you don't eat (fish, beef or fish stocks, egg, etc) and they will make your meal perfectly.
Rachel K: Two Michelin starred vegetarian restaurant in Japan. Love. Beautiful service. Have your hotel call and specific if you are true vegetarian (no fish stocks) or vegan if you're strict.
Rachel K: This is one of the most inspirational bars I've ever been to. Each cocktail features one or two local farmers market fresh fruit or veggie and one spirit. Pure simplicity at its best.
Rachel K: Breakfast buffet is expensive, but there is a large variety of options, including like croissants and fresh bread, raw fish, avocado (make your own avocado toast!), bread pudding, eggs and quiches.
Rachel K: Cozy little whisky bar with very friendly (and mostly English-speaking) bartenders. On the more expensive end, though, with cover charge 1K ¥
Rachel K: What a wonderful hotel! So much detail, like how they give you a semi private room to check in with a glass of wine. What a perfect detail after a long flight.
Rachel K: Help track fire recovery from the 2013 Springs Fire! There are 10 of these stands along the way to position your camera and then you tweet at the National Park Service.
Rachel K: The meatless breakfast burrito could use a bit more avocado and less spinach, but it's pretty good covered in some hot sauce. Served with a side of fruit, mostly melons.
