- Paige CСентябрь 21, 2017Really good food! Coming here for a holiday dinner was a lot better than I expected. Gets very crowded so be sure to make a reservation. Their matzoh ball soup is amazing!Проголосовали «за» 4 недели(-ль) назад
- Get the matzo ball soup and share one hot pastrami sandwich (not the monster unless you’re up for a challenge). We also tried the cabbage rolls here. They were ok.
- PatrickОктябрь 16, 2015My first time eating shrimp salad. It was fresh, crispy, and creamy. All on a toasted everything bagel. Washed it down with a slice of carrot cake. Simply Amazing! Great and friendly staff. Love thisПроголосовали «за» 1 неделю назад
- Andy MartensНоябрь 4, 2014Pastrami on par with Katz's, with far fewer tourists. Sit-down is not as family-brunch-oriented as nearby 2nd Ave Deli, as Sarge's is more about Murray Hill's young adults - 24 hrs and huge portions.
- Real Cheap EatsИюнь 17, 2012Try the Souper Soup. "Sitting in the heady chicken broth, which demands no salt, are a hearty beef kreplach, noodles and a gigantic matzoh ball that straddles the line between floater and sinker." \nПодробнее
- Daniel BarnettНоябрь 30, 2014Quite possibly my favorite deli in NY. I grew up on their pastrami and corned beef on Sundays. Can't go wrong with anything from Sarges.
- Village VoiceАвгуст 15, 2014The corned beef can't measure up. It finds the meaning of its life not in a sandwich, but in the corned beef hash-slivers of salty meat fried crisp that overpower the smidgens of potato. \nПодробнее
- Janelle GreeneАвгуст 13, 2017Looooove the smoked whitefish and smoked salmon salads! 1/4 lb of each + some butter club crackers is really all the lunch I need!
- Ilona HiilaИюнь 8, 2014Take the mixed sandwich no. 3. If you're a european and not used to the american portion size, take one to share with a friend. It will fill you, I promise!
- Lots of $15.95 lunch specials that guarantee no one leaves hungry. Includes soup, slaw, pickles, fries, coffee and many meal options.
- Best corned beef and pastrami in NYC. Open 24/7 which is incredible. They never close which is even better.
- Love that matzoh ball soup. Love that this place appears to be a kosher deli but it totally serves whatever they want
- Corsetière InesЯнварь 7, 2018Feeling ill? Have the super soup with extra noodles. You won’t regret it. It’s my hangover helper and kicks a cold fast.
- Paul Bryant-SmithЯнварь 16, 2016The half sandwich and "cup" of soup special is fantastic, but it leaves me wondering just how humongous a "bowl" of soup must be.
- Just as good, if not better than the other big name delis in NYC. Go for lunch for more bang for your buck
- Kevin DudleyНоябрь 19, 2014The pastrami (order it "fatty") is amazing, as is the matzo ball soup. Watch out for dirty forks and plates. Service was barely adequate, though stereotypical for a NY deli.
- Ricky SherrillЯнварь 20, 2015Super friendly service along with good food make this a great choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
- Village VoiceНоябрь 14, 2011Winner of Best Late-Night Eats in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Come in any 24 hours of the day and ask for an extra-thick sliced pastrami.
- Jack EtheringtonСентябрь 24, 2017Portion sizes are humongous. Could easily share between 2. Solid beef hash.
- New York HabitatДекабрь 2, 2011One of our favorite spots to get a good pastrami on rye. Don't sleep on the corned beef though, it's mouthwateringly good.
- Josephine SonАпрель 16, 2012Best pastrami in NYC, yes better than Katz's! Love the old school vibe & cranky waitresses.
- Josephine SonИюль 18, 2014They're back! And my new job is only 3 blocks away...that's either very good or very bad! Still my favorite pastrami in NYC, no contest!
- Elie BleierИюль 3, 2014A dying breed. Get the half sandwich (pastrami) half soup (matzah ball). You will be stuffed.
- Caroline LeeАвгуст 17, 2011I don't even like pastrami and I'm in love with their pastrami & corned beef sandwich with russian dressing :) skip the matzo ball soup and the cheesecake though
- Village VoiceАпрель 19, 2012Sarge's Delicatessen's Pastrami Sandwich voted #1 on The VillageVoice's 10 Best Late Night Eats in New York City: http://bit.ly/GD3I7F
- Thomas MoИюнь 14, 2015Sandwiches here are pricy but very good and very large. I wish they sliced the meat thicker though.
- Katie Berger FolmarМарт 21, 2015I had takeout via seamless and had amazing soup! Definitely great when you aren't feeling great!
- Meng HeИюнь 8, 2012Try the The Cookout Burger - Smokey BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, bacon, sautéed mushrooms and onions. Served with lettuce, tomato, and Bermuda onion.
- The Corcoran GroupЯнварь 7, 2011Home of The Monster – just try and finish a $30 Pastrami sandwich on your own. Stop by 24 hours a day and explore the vast menu.
- Dan NugentИюнь 4, 2014The sandwiches are pricey, but enormous, bring a big appetite or prepare to take home a doggy bag.
- Anthony De RosaИюнь 14, 2016It's true, the pastrami here is as good as Katz's. The only disappointment really was the cole slaw but that's not why you're here.
- Jessica ChiangСентябрь 17, 2012They don't mess around at Sarge's. HUGE portions. Bowl sized coffee cups. Huge lunch plates (nothing junior about the junior ruben). The $30 Monster sandwich is...a monster.
- The Corcoran GroupАвгуст 27, 2010Excellent pastrami and fries. Can you finish “The Monster”? Supposedly NYC largest sandwich. Do it and win a free t-shirt.
- Bob WelchАпрель 18, 2023It's just steps away from Grand Central Terminal and when you are that close, you stop by.
- The menu states noodle kugel serves two but fails to tell you the cheesecake serves three. Both are delicious.
- Try pancakes banana nut and choco pudding for toping
- Good pastrami, and excellent kreplach too
- Hannah SmokerМай 1, 2012Amazing amazing amazing. Best drunken stop ever made for a late night sandwich.
