Dare I say my favorite? The cafe is charming. I love to sit outside both winter and summertime (they have heaters when it's cold). Nutella gelato! Sorberitas! Best hummus plate! Dates + Studying.
Not the place to make a quick stop. Spider House is all about good food and good company. Service is slow. Great for studying and socializing, but it is loud. Food not best, but pie, queso, hummus.
Embodies grungy, chic vibe of East Sixth. Quiet, dark. I went when it was raining and sat outside. Not necessarily best for studying due to the dark lighting, but a great place to chill. Laid back.

Beautiful on Lake Austin. Tons of outdoor seating and plethora of desserts! Bottomless coffee is offered but it gets cold pretty quickly. The desserts and ambience are the thing here, not the coffee.
Hidden gem on UT campus. It's in the alumni center and is a full service coffee shop and cafe. Reasonably priced coffee drinks and healthy lunch options. Comfy study seating. Great meeting place.

Ideal for socializing. The coffee is excellent (I favor the skim cappucino) and the food is equally delicious. Live music and alcoholic coffee drinks makes it a great evening hang out. NO STUDYING.
