Named after hotelier Cesar Ritz, who also managed The Savoy Hotel, the Ritz was the first hotel in London to have en-suite rooms, it was also the first steel framed building in England.

Excellent afternoon tea in a beautiful room; so generous I felt like Adam Richman. The (rigorously enforced) requirement for gentlemen to wear jacket and tie is somewhat stuffy in this day in age.

Luxurious afternoon tea in a classy way, 2 hours sitting, some snacks and cakes for £50. Be aware of your expectation: this is not dinner. So, make sure you have some leftover in your fridge 😬

"Tea at the Ritz” is held at the opulent cream-coloured Palm Court with panelled mirrors in gilt bronze frames. Dress Code requires a jacket and tie/papillon for men.

The classy though expensive place to drink cocktails, but this place is legendary. Probably 10% of all famous cocktails were first mixed here.

As much as Afternoon Tea is lovely, if you don't want to break the bank with Dinner at the Ritz, lunch is a very affordable thing at the Ritz and definitely beats Afternoon Tea!

The Ritz fine jewellery collection is amaze. There's an emerald gold ring I love so so much. A lot of sparkle goes on in their place. Great for evenings and events.
