The founder is from North Carolina and the biscuits and other dishes are as authentic as you'd want, with a few added embellishments. I recommend the Reggie, even for breakfast.
I had and recommend their moon cakes (although they do not have the salted duck yolks) and the licorice tea
Get the halibut collars - the only thing they do here is fish and chips, so don't expect your fish broiled, baked or otherwise cooked.
Have the Great Balls of Fire at the end of the meal, as you won't be able to taste anything afterwards.
The banh mi tacos are an interesting twist on the sandwich and a nice no-bread option
As frightening as the peanut butter, bacon and pickle burger sounds, it works perfectly. A must-try.
