Really great tacos, whether they are beef, vegetarian or fish. Wonderful tortas, great black bean dip. In other words, it's all good, and a great patio to boot!
Both the gyros and the chicken shawarma sandwiches are great. The salad was very fresh and their krinkle cut fries are fantastic.
It's a loud place, but it's also a fun place to eat. Great waitstaff, the green chile chicken enchiladas are really good (and spicy).
The chicken fried steak! I've not had anything here that was not delicious. But still...the chicken fried steak.
Maybe my favorite bar in Dallas. Just the best atmosphere (it really is like a neighborhood pub) and great staff.

Very good breakfasts! The home fries are terrific and the breakfast chicken fried steak is awesome (and large). Great value.
Mainly standard Tex-Mex fare, but actually done really well, and better than the usual chain Mexican joints that are everywhere these days.
The custard is tremendous, and the selection/combinations are huge. Really fun place.
Oh dear, that coconut cream pie is a work of art. Super duper rich, however. Not that that's a bad thing (the pie is terrific).
The pork ribs, burnt bacon ends and the jalapeño sausage are all outstanding.
Best tacos anywhere, and that is no exaggeration. They are small, cheap, and flat out extraordinary. Also---wonderful fried pies made on the spot.
