Quite sight to see a lot of different animals. Sea lions show is quite good. Absolutely visit the Lion's habitat to see the Lion in all its majesty. Aquarium is worth a dekko!
Awesome tea! A must try. A variety of dosas which one can try. If you are travelling on NH-24, it is a fabulous place to take a break.
Awesome food! Try lemon coriander soup, veg. Kung pao and garlic noodles. Great taste and fast service.
Restaurant Swagath is quite nice. Great food. Try veg manchurian, tandoori veg platter, hot n sour soup, honey potato and missi roti. Great to spend time with family.

Take a DB kombi ticket for Insel Mainau (€99 for 4 persons without ship but includes line 4 to Mainau). Sunny days are just awesome here. Stroll around the island, see a motley of colours.
Great family park. Nice for weekend stroll and picnic. Go in spring/summer. Awesome flowers!
Tourist Centre is just outside the station. Buy Heidelberg card which includes local transportation (Honeycomb 125, all of Heidelberg) and castle tickets. Tram stops just behind tourist centre.
Butter croissants are plain awesome! Soft and melts in the mouth. Caramel macchiato is also quite good.
Scenic views of Heidelberg. Take Bus # 33 from HbF or Bismarckplatz and get down at Rathaus/Bergbahn. Take the funicular and get down at first station (Schloss).
Great shops. Stroll all day long. Full of restaurants and pubs of all varieties. Passes through Universitatplatz and Marktplatz. Try eating at Big pommes, chutney, Asian Wok, Saigon, etc.

Reach via Tram10. Every half an hour. Awesome sceneries and views. Walk in the fields. Try the restaurant at the bahnof.
Try sabji ka kofta. Quite authentic and tasty. Kebabs are pricey and not that good. Tikka Palak wasn't authentic and the lamb was not at all soft. Nice ambience!
10 km hike from Alpnach dorf. Steep hike from the base of the peak. However you will feel fantastic after completing the hike.
Great fun to watch movies. Comfortable seats and great sound system! Tickets are generally less than other cinemas in Basel. CHF 15+CHF 3 (for 3D glasses). Check timings of original english shows.
