I haven't done the ATV tour, but I heard it's nice. This area is gorgeous and on my dream wedding venue list.

Legendary surfer and lifeguard Eddie Aikau patrolled the waters at Waimea Bay starting in 1968. Not a single life was lost while he was on duty, sometimes braving waves over 30 feet tall.

There is no public parking, and this is a very rocky area underwater... You will not want to be barefoot. Not very crowded. This beach requires some extra effort to go to, but I'm glad I went.

This beach is great! But definitely recommend coming early in the morning like around 6:30 that way you can avoid the massive crowd that comes in afterward
My favorite little piece of Oahu. If the tide is low, you can walk to the island & the beach on the other side. Otherwise kayak and say hi to the sea turtles that are sure to introduce themselves. :-)

The chocolate haupia pie is a MUST for newcomers. Silky smooth and perfectly sweet but not over the top
Make sure to wear good hikingh shoes. Flip flops not recomended. It gets pretty muddy as you go higher and deeper in. But the waterfall at the end is amazing.
