Världens roligaste mataffär. Färdigmaten man plockar ihop själv blir en helt ok lunch i en park i närheten. Och så får man inte missa öldelen av affären som har ALLT.
Bara vissa dagar (söndagar!). Massa fint gammalt, och supergod mat som lagas till där. Vi käkade pizza som en tjej stod och lagade i en gammal tunna.
Meat-like vegan dishes. Having grown up on a vegetarian diet I was slightly sceptical at first, but they converted me on the first bite of the "chicken wings". The staff is incredibly friendly, too!
Someone said the Scuttlebutt is the best sandwich they've ever had and I kinda have to agree. It doesn't go well together with their ice tea though, so get something else to drink.
If you're into modular synthesizers and in NY, this is a given stop. Great selection of modules in stock and very friendly staff.
It doesn't get any better than a food truck that's parked indoors, owned by Food Network star Aarón Sanchez, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner fare. Try the fish tacos; they'll blow you away.
The cauliflower crumble starter is big enough for two to share. You should do that, because it's absolutely amazing.
Vegan fast food. They have a hamburger + peanut butter milkshake special. What's not to like?
Drink a beer while watching a good film. Check their schedule in advance, they seem to be running theme nights pretty often, that look like they're a lot of fun.
The museum is OK-ish, but the boat ride from Battery Park out to the island is worth the trip. You don't have to stop at the Statue of Liberty.
If you're into rooftop bars, this is one of them. Pricey, long waiting times to get up, but the view makes it worth it.
Get a couple of starters and entrees to share, they're all pretty much amazing.
They're currently running an exhibit on posters, which comes highly recommended. The museum shop is equally great.
