Make sure you start your tour of the Midway early in the day. It will take you most of the day to properly visit the entire ship.

I cannot guarantee it, but this might be the only free parking spot at the fish market/Salute to Bob Hope. There is no meter for this space and we were here for 3 hours and got no ticket good luck! :)

Commissioned in 1945, USS Midway (CV-41) was an aircraft carrier of the US Navy and is the only remaining aircraft carrier of the WW II era that is not an Essex-class ship.

Awesome experience. A note for taller visitors: the bottom decks have very low ceilings, so make sure you watch your head.
