    Get the gin and tonic and pizza with nettles or chanterelles. Everything is so damn good. Get in when they first open, no need to be picky about when you eat, just get in when you can.

    If you like to be tempted by luscious baked goods (spicy cheese croissants?!), sit yo ass here. Otherwise solid brunch fare. Come early for a fresh-baked-warm loaf of heaven for $10 (half for $5).

    Arrive exactly when it opens to get a seat in the patio, or else sit at the bar where full menu is served. Can't go wrong with any of the pizzas or the salmon.

    Absolutely everything on the menu (which changes daily) is fantastic. If you're lucky enough to come on a night they have sformata, get it. Get five. And order a vodka tonic- their tonic's house-made!

    Menu changes daily. Nothing disappoints; homemade bread is great (better than Tartine's). Can't go wrong with pizza, and drinks are well-balanced.

    Food, amazing as usual but service was subpar. Felt like our waitress Katie or however she spells it was rushing us and didn't care at all. I didn't even get the coffee I ordered after our meal.

    Get there at 8am on the weekday to get Blue Bottle coffee, killer pastries, and free Wi-Fi. Nice break from the office.

    Technically not in SF, this is one of our top 3 pizzas in the bay. Opened by ex-Chez Panisse alums. Service is almost alarmingly attentive. Boot & Shoe is the sister restaurant but isn't as good.
