This cosy basement has all the great qualities of a neighbourhood bar and yet, they make some of the best cocktails in London. If that's not enough to convince you, it's a favourite among bartenders.

Extremely well hidden pace with earthly interiors. There are quite a number of cocktails that are absolutely not on the menu. Ask your waiter to surprise you or give your preferences for a cocktail.

One of the top cocktail places in London. Try anything from the menu as each libation is good as the next one, and the menu changes with the season. Very warm, cosy, low-lit basement speakeasy.

Try the martinis or vermouth based cocktails (like Dip in the Afternoon). Super friendly staff that are very willing (and able) to help you choose the perfect cocktail. Highly recommended!

If you're sick of gimicky drinks in hipster places, come here for superb no-frills cocktails in a simple basement bar. Everything on the menu is worth getting, esp. the Bootlegger and the Cassidy.

Awesome little basement bar serving up inventive and balanced cocktails. Not a pretentious space and the bartenders are super friendly.

Nightlife! Good cocktail bar in the Hoxton square if you feel like night life on Friday, after that you can check out the other bars around - this one is just cocktails but plenty of discos near it

Love this place, its location and its sort of speakeasy style. Feels like a NYC bar. Cocktails are top, and so are the nibbles. Great place to enjoy a drink and a nice chat.

A great cocktail both on and off menu. True to its name, I never seem to exactly remember what I had the night before, but you really can't go wrong with any of it.

Gray cozy place. Small underground that fits ~30 people. Great cocktails and fantastic service. All cocktails prices at 10£.

Well-made cocktails and excellent service. Consider foregoing the menu and just ordering classics - both my whiskey sour and old fashioned were very well made.
