Dominic BullИюль 21, 2013Undercroft refurb is well worth a visit and is included in general admission. Great views from the top of the tower (up 280+ steps) although it's an extra £5 on the standard admission price.

Pink 386Март 26, 2023Beautiful cathedral inside and out, made out of limestone. Second largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe apparently. Stain glass windows are breath taking. Also don't miss The Kings Screen

Be sure to be at the minster at midnight on NYE-- an experience you never want to forget!

For the best views over York, climb the Minster Tower. Costs a few pounds - and you need to be in shape for the climb - but well worth it.
