Allegedly, this is the pub where Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels would visit after a long day of translating the Communist Manifesto in a unit somewhere behind the pub. Quirky old place!
Can't go wrong with $2 beers and $8 pitchers. Food's great, too. Well worth a visit - also often gets Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons and Lions players in post-match.
