Absolutely charming in a 50s cocktail lounge kind of way. Outstanding cocktails. Delicious international snacks. Great wine list. Sophisticated without being over-priced or pretentious.
Outstanding gin and tonics! G'n't places are all over the city now, but few beat XIX. It's been around forever; they know what they're doing. Best on weeknights (less crowded).

Cool bar with a hip, international (but not touristy) crowd. Rumor has it, they make a great burger. Their Manhattans are pretty good too. Good place for an early cocktail. Gets very crowded later on.

The smaller sibling of Bar Boada. Same old-world vibe and excellent cocktails, but a smaller, more intimate space tucked down a tiny Raval street. Worth seeking out for a trip back in time!
