Nice renovation, but ad typical TSA sucks. Allow extra time for these clowns.
Although the signage says there is baggage claim at B4, it is sorely mistaken.
The free WiFi is confusingly named "Port Authority LAN" but otherwise works perfectly.
A quick stop at Starbucks next to gate C10 is always a good idea.
Jim N' Nick's is slow and expensive, but nearly worth the wait... nearly.
Love small modern airports like this one

Bham airport is starting to look a little better people are actually sitting down and eating in here.
During construction on Concourse B, all flights are on Concourse C. This makes the TSA screening slow. Be here at least an hour early.

New Sam Adams bar now open on C concourse, no more smoking area on C now so have to go to the curb outside security

Need coffee? Starbucks is located at the end of the Concourse C (the only concourse open during construction).
Safety officer should be fired. No emergency lighting functioning during blackout. Obviously senior staff here more interested in getting paid than doing their job - shame on you all!
This airport needs a priority line to get through security or an experienced travel lane like LGA at least. They are doing construction so all flights are going through one terminal right now so long security lines during peak times
Great airport to fly out of or in to...terrible for layovers

Take a picture of your luggage that you check. Makes it a snap to describe if gets lost.
Starbucks, Quizno's, and Sam Adams Pub are all now open on Concourse C

Warning: Thieves amongst the baggage handlers. Have had an employee have her laptop stolen from her bag and have had prescriptions stolen from my gate-checked bags. Don't part with your valuables.
Joseph StehmanМарт 2, 2015This is one of the WORST airports to have to return a car. There wasn't anyone working to check back in my car and my keys didn't fit into the return key box. Oh yeah the return key box is hidden.
WiFi is much improved and it's free.
Harris SaundersАпрель 17, 2012There is a Starbucks in C concourse. TSA are idiots. I flew with the same items the last 5x and this time they confiscate violating items. Why not the other 5x?
Concourse C has new Sam Adams bar. Pizza Hut and Quiznos are next door. It's better.
Take advantage of the free wi-fi around the airport.
The service in airport shops at BHM is -awful-. The shop staff act like you are majorly inconveniencing them if you want to buy a bottle of water. They need an attitude overhaul!!
