Pretty much the best brunch in NYC.Try not to look like a animal while devouring their Banana Pancakes with Warm Maple Butter. You might have to line up for a while, but it's worth the wait!

Pass the 2 hour wait by bringing the Times, getting coffee and a scone, and watching the staff at the empty coffee place across the street wonder what they're doing wrong.

Grab coffee across the street while waiting. Once we got a text to be seated we still had to wait 10-15 additional mins for a table. Get the blueberry pancakes & sugar cured bacon. Worth the wait!

the bacon served with the southern breakfast is significantly different from the other bacons. this is my fav in NYC.

Clinton Street Baking Company had long remained at the top of my New York food adventures list. When you think brunch in NYC you think Clinton Street. The wait is totally worth it

The wait for the weekend brunch is too long for a kid, but if you can swing it, go for lunch on a weekday. Their famous pancakes are served at all hours. Banana is best.

Even on weekdays there is a long wait. Be prepared! Its better to come as a 1 or 2.

Order a plate of blueberry pancakes for the table and a biscuit for the table. Get eggs with bacon and other deliciousness and you will be sad when the meal is over.

grits and pancakes are perfection. buut don't ask for extra syrup - they don't give you enough in the first place - lest you're prepared to pay an additional 2 bucks! shakes aren't the best-still love

So it wasn't bad food but it's not worthy of the #1 breakfast spot in NYC and definitely not worth the wait. Unfortunately most dishes were bland, including the blueberry pancakes and fried chicken.

Definitely take advantage of February's pancake month! But their banana walnut pancakes are equally delicious. Hands down, best in NYC.
