Excellent Italian food but, call ahead for seating. The wait on a Saturday for walk in seating was over 40 mins
Absolutely best Italian in Frederick. Prices are very reasonable, portions are very large. I got fried calamari and linguini with red sauce. Was a whole plate of calamari and side portion of pasta.
The wine, the pasta, the thin crust pizza, even the salad - and then finish with the limoncello dessert! Oooh, so good!
The meatball sub (only available on Friday in limited quantities) will actually change your life. It's probably big enough for two people to share ... although you might not want to.
After months of learning how to use the pizza oven and tweaking the menu, Pistarro's gets the nod for pizza, as they have made that transition. Will save wine commentary for another time.
