Lufthansa is a great company but the Frankfurt airport service is not up to the standard. Long queue everywhere. You should be careful when having a connection flight.
Verás correr a gente de un lado a otro en busca de su vuelo. Si tienes tu billete y vas con Lufthansa ponte en la cola de los tornos de la puerta de embarque.
You can be lucky and everything works smoothly or be unlucky and this airport is horrible. Long waiting times at checkin, security control and delays occur frequently.Get your shit together, Fraport!
This airport is huge. Despite how well traveled you think you are, you will still need at least 2 hours before boarding to get to your gate. I'd your easily confused, add more time!
If they send you to section a to pick up a car go to section b. Don't follow the signs be radical you'll get there quicker and mess with the German mentality for strict order
Priority Pass holders be careful not to go to the Sky Lounge behind Passport Control & Security Check which takes long time. They'd also confiscate any un-sealed duty free liquid items you bought!
Terminal2 means always less waiting time to get to the gate. Tax free refund desks are quite busy before far east flights, try the ones after the security check.
The airport is huge. 1 hour is an absolute minimum for connection. Do not hesitate to ask people to let you go in front of the security check line if you short on time
The lounge chairs are more comfortable than most, some of them are even "recliners" in the sense that they are angled at about 45° & make for a decent way to catch a little sleep during a long layover
One of the worest airport I have ever seen in my life. So bad experience. I can't understand how rest area around the bathroom?! too much noise. The staffs are so rude.
If the Security Check in Terminal 1/A is crowded, take the free Skytrain from Terminal 1/B to Terminal 1/A (upper level).......there's a separate check just for Skytrain guests...
Decent duty free for shopping. Lines can get long for customs check, specially if you are not EU citizen, make sure you have enough time to get to your gate.
A disappointment in terms of shopping choices and operations. 2 passport checks at arrival (first one just outside of the plane) must have been designed as additional deterrent. Small choice of shops.
Frankfurt Airport is Germany's largest aviation hub with more than 70 million passengers in 2019. More than 100 airlines fly to 275 destinations in 111 countries with approximately 1,400 flights per day.
