great food and a fun place. sit in the bar area. large, old style red leather booths. The dining area, just behind the bar, has smaller tables with chairs only. A bit crowded.
Frankie is a New York Ristoratore. I've been in this place at full capacity and yet Frankie is only too happy exchanging greetings going from table to table. Frankie has great personal charm!
There's an Italian saying; mangiare bene, vivere a lungo ed essere felici. Eating Lamonica's pizza always reminds me of this saying. Pepperoni smothered with anchovies. It doesn't get any better!
