For the best view / picture opportunity of the bridge, go to baker beach. Much better views there than at the touristy gift shop area. Or go across the bridge to hawk hill, beautiful view there too

California Travel Tips - Veronica HillИюнь 3, 2013Welcome to the Golden Gate! Did you know 120,000 cars travel across here daily? The bridge is 1.7 miles from beginning to end with a 4,200 foot suspension span. It takes about an hour to walk across.
The bridge is under construction, I can not walk all the way across. If you have a bike you can ride all the way across on the bike side! Great views even if it's foggy!
