Quite far from Seoul. The best way to get to downtown Seoul is by a bus or with a taxi. Very organized inside with a nice selection of stores. For coffee, go to Paris Baguette. pleasantly surprised!
Departure from plane to a train that takes you to 'passenger terminal' from where easy info for bus, taxi, cab provided by the ladies at the 'yellow' info counter!
This airport is considered to be one of the best but duty free closes at 10 pm...how is this possible? What about the passengers like me taking flight at 01:00 am?? This is an issue they must review.
A lot of duty free stores and designer boutiques. Free showers, transit hotels and paid lounges. There are transit tours to Seoul available. But airport employees need to improve their English.
At midnight, Asiana lounge is closed. You may get 10,000W coupon for refreshment at airline check-in counter if you are star alliance gold member, but almost all food shops are also closed!!!
Immigration officials are efficient. Ladies in semi-traditional ham bok are there to guide you to the shortest lines and answer questions - in many languages!
I wish this airport can improve further on having more counters for security check as we have to queue very long for it even during non peak season. The rest are ok.
This airport is HUGE. I had over a 1700 meter walk between my two gates. It was a great airport though, very nice inside and anything you could want to buy.
