Enjoyed the pork shoulder with the Texas sauce. My friends had the ribs and said they were over cooked. Sides were fine, but needed salt.

Jack's wasn't as good as I expected. The brisket was over good and dry. The green beans were mushy. I wasn't really impressed.

Less than average BBQ . I'm sorry , that's as honest as I can get . Corn was the best item I ate . On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 4.

The food is ok, but not the best that I've had here. Also, it's extremely dirty- sort of like a filthy dive bar, but serving food.

Not much. Not sure what the rave reviews are all about. Food is quite bland even with sauces. Corn bread was stodgy. Service was quick. It is self service. Nice patio.

The pulled pork, corn bread and sauces were good. The brisket was OK tasting but dry. The ribs were very underwhelming.

So food was great! Smoked Turkey was Delish!! Apples sucked! The staff was rude and kicked 1 old man out because the decided they were closed. That was mean!!

The food was okay, all of the employees but one were pretty rude. There are definitely better choices in Nashville.

Disappointed, no ribs when we went. Waited 3 days to go 'cause lines were so long. Cafeteria style but pretty fast. They get lots of folks through there.

Brought a 50 person group here from a conference. Were not at all accommodating, in fact they yelled at us despite the fact that we called ahead. Definitely NOT "the friendliest folks in town"!

All of these good reviews can't be wrong but its my first time here and the food is dry as hell and not good.. hattie b's was much better.
