Thomas LangeМай 15, 2015My favorite steakhouse in NYC. Expensive but it's ok for special occasions.I usually get the Filet mignon,it's amazing. They cook it perfectly so it's tender and juicy. The service here is excellent.
What's not to like about this jewel? Bartenders that are second to none, great food and the most interesting patrons. But the piece de resistance is the Hot Fudge Sundae. At a Steakhouse? YES!!

Dinner for four? Get two orders of bacon, a porterhouse for two, mutton chop, burger with cheddar, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. Scientific proportions made to make the entire table happy.

The service is great & the food is even better, the berry bibble was my fav.- Still the best steakhouse in NY. Period. Lugar's? No. Old Homestead? Nah. Delfriscos? Uh uh. This, is the place. Cant beat the meat or the decor.

When in doubt or just wanting a 'snack' I highly recommend the Steak Salad. Flavorful, Med - well skirt steak & the salad was butter lettuce that I could have eaten more of. Delish!!
