Senator FeldmanДекабрь 13, 2012The beach is raised on a wall. It is sandy, but don't think you can get in the ocean. There is a little pier you can walk out on past the pool. Hotel is on opposite end of the action on island
John JЯнварь 22, 2014It's a full 3 miles from the Old Town area where everyone goes. Once you get used to the fact that they have a free shuttle to downtown and the airport you won't even feel like you are far away.

Pool chairs fill up fast! Get up early to secure a spot!

Rent a cruiser from Recycle and avoid the shuttle. While convenient, it gets very crowded on the ride home.
Fernando AndrésАпрель 19, 2013There is not a real beach and the swimming pool is small for such a big hotel. Not the best Marriott at all- Free shuttle to Duval and back runs every hour till 11:20pm.
Use billys for jet ski rental. Awesome tours.
