It is a horror show. poor signage especially to the rental car locations. Be patient each rental car brand has its own busses and they can go 20 minutes without one then three arrive at the same time.
I expected more. Very few food places and shops in domestic area. Plus, if you have an international transfer flight with a stop here - you would have to go out, pick your bags and change terminals.
Concerned about your laptop's security at the checkpoint? Checkpoint-Friendly laptop cases are recognized by the TSA and allow your laptop to stay in the case for scanning.
If you land at terminal 1 and are getting on any shuttle, you may save time walking across to terminal 7 for pickup. Traffic can make it take 30 minutes to pick up at each terminal.
Seating is sparse around gates. Way more people than seats available. Power outlets? You might be able to solve the US economy's issues in the time it will take you to find one.
Everyone is hating. Nothing better than first class LA-NYC on American. The best airline food (amazingly) full bar, full beds. Cured my fear of flying!
TeamTRI says If you're driving into LAX around Gate 1 and need to get to Gate 6 or 7 use the cut across rather than drive the whole horseshoe. Saves time and hassle and is usually not crowded.
First experience with Virgin America and it has been a painless experience so far. Couldn't ask for a smoother check-in... With great piped music to boot! :-)
Get here early and don't piss off TSA. They're famous for making it take extra long to check your things and private screenings so long that you miss your flight.
This has gone from being one of the worst airports to one of the better ones at least the international terminal. Smart partnership with Westfield mall for a great retail experience. I'll be back.
Under renovation, looking to be much better. But if you are traveling here before Oct, note that the dining places are not opened yet. There is free starbucks and mineral water though...
During his visit to Stanford, United CEO Jeff Smisek said that United burns $25,000 worth of jet fuel every minute. Stanford's Aero/Astro Department is creating a more sustainable future for aviation. \nПодробнее
If you’ve got some spare time, have a romantic “Encounter” at the restaurant in the center of LAX with 135-foot high parabolic arches and a futuristic design. #vday
Strong contender for least passenger friendlyairport. Air NZ transit-ers: prepare for bad queues for passenger 'processing'. Pee before you get off the plane - there may be no relief for some time!
