Luke Kingma: There's a bold claim in its name, and EPCH delivers... deliciously. No need to pour over the menu here. The Pork Chop Over Rice is everything that it is. Add a marinated egg, because you're worth it.
Luke Kingma: Anthony Bourdain-approved! One of the few joints in Chinatown that'll still be open when you stumble out of Apotheke at 3 in the morning. The Suckling Baby Pig on Rice is worth its weight in guilt.
Luke Kingma: Chinatown's oldest Dim Sum house. They've traded metal carts for paper cards, so bring your reading glasses. The Salt & Pepper Spare Rib has earned a check mark. Add a pot of tea to any meal for $1!
Luke Kingma: If it's a flavor you've tried outside of Chinatown, you're not doing it right. Black Sesame ice cream, on the other hand, is worth the risk. Add some Jeremy Lin sprinkles and support the boys uptown.

Luke Kingma: SO MANY different hand-pulled noodles! Order them pan-fried and extra wide with beef, then blanket it with hot chili oil. So chewy a wookie would eat it (yep).
Luke Kingma: A theme park for free samplers. Careful, though! Some of their dried snacks are interesting, others are life changing, and a handful are life ending. Seriously, there are some cruel flavors in here.
Luke Kingma: It's much, much bigger on the inside (sort of a Chinese Tardis), and the carts full of Dim Sum never seem to end. You'll spend an hour in line, and even longer eating.
Luke Kingma: Every New Yorker has their food mistress, and Vanessa on Eldridge is one of the most addictive. Dollar dumplings, buns, and pancakes will keep you faithful.
Luke Kingma: An underground den of masterful dishes. You'll know you're in the right place when you see the white butcher's coats. Get your hands on the fabled "secret menu," or order anything with black beans.
Luke Kingma: If you're not into "holes in the wall," Full House Cafe might be your guy. It's the most modern dim sum parlor in Chinatown thanks to a million dollar makeover. Welcome to Hong Kong, 2013.
Luke Kingma: Best soups in Chinatown. Reach the summit of their signature Mt. Qi Beef Noodles, and order an extra water or two. This kitchen's got heat.
Luke Kingma: My favorite Bubble Teas in Chinatown! Try some of the more innovative flavors; they change them all the time. If you're hungry, keep it tea-themed and order the Green Tea Noodles.
Luke Kingma: You'll have to trek north of Canal to find Nyonya, but it's worth twice the walk. Best Malaysian in Chinatown by a long shot, and one of very few to serve fresh coconut water straight from the source.
Luke Kingma: Is there a line at Vanessa's? That's okay. You should have come here first anyway. A table full of fish balls, pork balls, and steamed dumplings will cost you next to nothing, and give you everything.
